It's important to stand up straight, obviously... but did you know the way you stand could be decreasing your oxygen intake? Here are a few simple tips to making sure you're getting adequate oxygen intake.

1. Don't hunch your shoulders forward, do some upper body stretches to correct this if you seem to be 'automatically' in this position.
2. Dont lean forward when you are sitting, keep your shoulders back at all times!
3. When you are running, or undertaking any exercise, stand up straight. Looking towards the ground will make you out of breath more quickly.
4. Sleep with pillows under your shoulder. Yes, I know it sounds weird, but the elevation of your shoulders increases oxygen intake.
